In Ngarum, one of the villages, a woman was burned alive by soldiers of the Cameroonian army. Another civilian was also killed at close range on Tuesday, 23 October 2018. Three soldiers were killed, as well as an armed man belonging to the Ambazonian group.



At the same time, in another village in the division of Donga Mantung, in Nwa sub-division, Ambazonian fighters reportedly killed a Muslim, Alhadji Ardo Nuhu, and his grandson, Issa Nuhu, accusing him of selling information to the army. A preacher was also killed and a disabled man was burned alive. Several houses were burned in both villages.
