CAMEROON NEWS: ESTIMATED BUDGET OF 272 MILLION, TO BUILD A HOUSE FOR THE PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL

The Cameroonian state plans to build a residence of function for the president of the Constitutional Council in Bastos, one of the upscale neighborhoods of the city of Yaounde.
With a cost of 272,659 million CFA Francs, the works of this book will be financed by the budget of the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Spatial Planning.
Clement Atangana, the first president of the Constitutional Council should be the first occupant of this residence of function. He is also the one who, for the first time in the history of this institution leads the ceremony of proclamation of the results of the presidential election. Which resulted in a victory of Paul Biya by a percentage of 71.28%, far ahead of his main rivals Maurice Kamto (14%) and Cabral Libii (6.28%).
The completion of the construction of the residence should last eight months, according to a call for tenders for the recruitment of a company published in the public press on October 23, one day after the proclamation of the results of the presidential election. It is envisaged while the members of this body lack offices.
