POST ELECTORAL WAR: SERGE MOTOMBA REJECTS KAMTO”S CALL FOR PROTEST AGAINST ELECTIONS RESULTS
Serge Espoir Matomba has hinted that he will not heed to Kamto’s call for the opposition to protest against the results of the October 7 Presidential election on President Biya’s swearing in day – November 6.
In a communique on his Facebook page, Serge Espoir Matomba called on opposition leaders to join him to reform the electoral process for future elections, so as to win 300 councils and 100seats in parliament come 2019.
The PURS presidential candidate maintained that Kamto’s request for a pacific walk is illegal, and would according to him, not yield any positive fruits.
“It is irresponsible for the opposition to involve the people into chaos…I call on other opposition leaders to join my team as we prepare to reform the electoral system in upcoming elections…” Serge Espoire Matomba said.
His outing came barely few hours after professor Maurice Kamto in a viral video, insisted, he emerged winner of the just ended presidential election.
